MICRONEEDLING IN VINEYARD, UTAH
Smoother-looking texture starts below the surface. Nurse-performed, physician-supervised microneedling is coming soon to our Vineyard studio.
What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses a medical-grade pen with fine, sterile needles to create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin.
Those micro-channels prompt your skin's natural repair response. Over the following weeks, that process may help support new collagen and elastin, the proteins that give skin its smooth, firm look.
Because the treatment works with your own skin's repair process, results build gradually. Most clients plan on a series of sessions rather than a single visit.
What Microneedling May Help With
01 Acne scars
May help soften the look of rolling and boxcar scarring over a series of sessions.
02 Texture
May help smooth rough or uneven-feeling skin for a brighter, more even look.
Results vary from person to person. Scars may soften but are unlikely to disappear completely.

Why Microneedling at Deliberate
Nurse-performed. Every treatment is done by Raquel Sandoval, RN, not an unlicensed technician.
Physician-supervised. Dr. Wendy Payne, MD, oversees our aesthetic services and treatment protocols.
Medical-grade, single-use. We use a professional microneedling pen with a new sterile cartridge for every client, every session.
A plan, not a one-off. Your first visit includes a skin consultation, so your depth, areas, and series length fit your goals.
Recovery and Aftercare
Expect pinkness similar to a mild sunburn for 1 to 3 days. Some clients notice light dryness or flaking as skin renews.
Skip makeup for 24 hours
Avoid workouts, saunas, and heavy sweating for 24 to 48 hours
Pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for about 3 to 5 days
Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF 30 or higher daily
Most people return to work the next day.
Your First Visit
Consultation. Raquel reviews your skin goals, health history, and any medications or recent treatments.
Prep. We cleanse the treatment area and apply a topical numbing cream for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Treatment. The pen passes over each area at a depth matched to your skin. The face typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
Soothe. We finish with a calming, hydrating serum and go over aftercare.
Plan on about 60 to 75 minutes for your first appointment.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Most clients plan on a series of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Deeper concerns like acne scarring often sit at the higher end.
Collagen builds slowly, so many clients notice texture and glow changes first, with continued improvement over the following months. Maintenance sessions once or twice a year may help keep results going.

Pairs Well With
Microneedling fits naturally into a broader skin and wellness plan. Raquel will suggest timing that works with your treatment schedule.
| Service | How it fits |
|---|---|
| Red Light Therapy | Many clients add red light between microneedling sessions. Ask Raquel about timing around your treatment. |
| Cryo Facials | A refreshing add-on between microneedling sessions, not on the same day. |
| Hair Restoration | Scalp microneedling as part of a physician-supervised hair restoration plan. |
| Injectables | Dysport and Daxxify for expression lines, which microneedling doesn’t target. |
