HAIR RESTORATION IN VINEYARD, UTAH
Thinning hair has more than one cause, so it deserves more than one-size-fits-all treatment. Physician-supervised hair restoration is coming soon to our Vineyard studio.
Understanding Hair Thinning
Hair grows in cycles. Thinning happens when more follicles shift into resting and shedding phases, or when follicles gradually shrink and produce finer hair.
Common contributors include:
Genetics: pattern thinning in men and women, often at the crown, hairline, or part
Hormones: changes after pregnancy, around menopause, or with thyroid imbalance
Nutrition: low iron, vitamin D, or other nutrient gaps
Stress and illness: sudden shedding that can follow a stressful event, illness, or major life change
Because the cause shapes the plan, we look at the whole picture before recommending treatment.
Treatment Options
01 Scalp Microneedling
A medical-grade pen with sterile, single-use needles creates tiny channels in the scalp. This may help stimulate the scalp's natural repair process and is often paired with PRP or PRF in the same visit.
02 PRP or PRF Scalp Injections
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is made from a small sample of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets and growth factors, then injected into thinning areas of the scalp. It may help support thicker-looking hair for some people, and results vary.
03 Stem Cell & Exosome Scalp Injections
The perinatal stem cells we use — derived from ethically donated umbilical cord tissue and processed in an FDA-registered laboratory — are specialized "signaling" cells that carry and deliver natural growth factors and cytokines. Importantly, the cells themselves are not therapeutic entities that treat, heal, or regenerate tissue; rather, the growth factors and cytokines they deliver are known to enhance the body's own natural ability to heal, repair, and recover. Stem cell therapies are not currently FDA-approved for most conditions, and we encourage you to consult your primary care provider before undergoing a stem cell therapy. Our Approach
Start with labs. Every plan begins with our Hair Restoration Panel, a blood draw here in the studio that checks iron stores, B12 and folate, thyroid, vitamin D, and key hormones, including DHT for men. Learn about our bloodwork.
Review and plan. Dr. Payne reviews your results, and we walk through them with you before recommending any treatment.
Scalp microneedling. Creates controlled micro-channels in thinning areas to prompt the scalp's natural repair response.
PRP or PRF scalp injections. Uses growth factors concentrated from your own blood, delivered to areas of thinning.
Stem cell and exosome scalp injections. Every therapy is administered by a licensed practitioner and begins with a consultation to review the science, the sourcing, and whether it's appropriate for you; individual results vary.
Many people with thinning hair have normal labs. When something like low iron or a thyroid issue does show up, it's worth addressing alongside your treatment. Dr. Payne can also talk through whether other options, including prescription treatments, belong in your plan.
How We Get Started
Consultation and lab draw. Raquel reviews your hair history, medications, and goals, takes baseline photos, and draws your Hair Restoration Panel. Come fasted, and book before 10 AM.
Results. Your results are usually back within 1 to 3 days.
Your plan. We review your results with you and build a treatment plan around them, so nothing is decided until we have the full picture.
Treatment visits. Scalp microneedling, injections, or both, with numbing first. For PRP or PRF, we draw a small sample of your blood that day.
Most clients return to normal activities the same day as treatment.
A Process, Not a Hair Transplant
Hair restoration injections are not a hair transplant. A transplant is surgery that moves hair follicles from one part of the scalp to another. Our treatments are a series of in-studio injection visits spread over several months, with no surgery.
Hair grows slowly, so this is a months-long process rather than an overnight change. We take photos at each visit so you can compare progress over time.
